The Live Edge isn't just about being on the edge of the water, but the meaning behind our vision has deeper roots. The Live Edge encompasses the live produce, from farm to plate, to represent the quality behind our food, as well as being right on the edge of east bluffs.
The Live Edge is also represented by our unique pieces in our dining room. Inspired by the natural 'live edge' of wood we have left uncut as the bar counter top, we are continually going to be adding more 'live edge' wood pieces in the future to represent the natural beauty of nature and food to be appreciated and enjoyed.
If you look around the room, you can see this place has character. From the locally supported artisan pepper shakers we have at each table to the local art works on the walls, your eye will catch all the quirky details that make the Live Edge so unique and special. We love supporting local artist and you can purchase art pieces in our dinning room and also at the Fish Point Studios, located just down the hall.

Our food and Ever-Changing Menu is inspired by the Island, where our ingredients are carefully curated, and locally sourced whenever possible, highlighting fresh produce, fish and free-range meats from the fields, farms and waters of Manitoulin. We take pride in our menu and our food to make sure that everything is hand-crafted and made in-house to make you feel right at home.
Supporting Local Feels Right At Home
We love to support local and we use only the best cuts of meat for our food. We use Burt Farm Country Meats sausage at breakfast to start the day off right. You have to come and try Joyce Family Farms for our greek-inspired, mouth-watering lamb burger. Don't forget about dessert! We support Lisabeth and Ultimately Chocolate for one of the best ways to finish your dinner, other then what our chef has whipped up!
